Delta’s international growth will be supported by one of the largest domestic feeder networks in the world. Delta serves the most domestic U.S. destinations of any airline.
To Europe and India, Delta currently operates more than 36 flights daily to 23 cities in 13 countries. With the introduction of new services from Atlanta to Düsseldorf, Copenhagen, Tel Aviv and Edinburgh, and from New York-JFK to Budapest and Kiev among others, by summer 2006 Delta will have more than 50 flights daily, serving 29 cities in 17 countries in Europe and India.
In line with its strategy of accelerating transformation, Delta will grow international capacity by about 25 percent in 2006 to pursue routes with greater profit potential.
Delta's marketing alliances also allow customers to earn and redeem SkyMiles on more than 14,000 flights offered by SkyTeam and other partners.
