REFRESHED’ BUSINESSELITE OFFER…


From spring 2006, Delta will be introducing a newly enhanced BusinessElite experience for it’s passengers that will include: comfortable all-leather sleeper seats with 60" of legroom; a digital, on-demand entertainment system with an extensive movie selection, the ability to build a personal music play-list, a suite of video games, and in-seat laptop power outlets; and a cleaner, brighter cabin.


BusinessElite is available on all of Delta’s intercontinental routes, including flights between the U.S. and Europe, Japan, India, Chile, Brazil, and Argentina.


DELTA CROWN ROOM CLUBS AND BUSINESSELITE LOUNGES…

Delta offers Crown Room Clubs and BusinessElite Lounges to its BusinessElite passengers and SkyMiles Medallion members in a total of 48 facilities including 44 Crown Room Clubs in 35 airports worldwide (3 international locations – London Gatwick, Frankfurt, Munich) and 5 BusinessElite Lounges (located in Atlanta, New York JFK and Cincinnati).


PRIORITY BAGGAGE CLAIM …

Delta ensures that all BusinessElite baggage is given priority service to allow passengers to get on their way quickly and easily.


ARRIVALS FACILITIES…

Delta’s arrivals facilities for BusinessElite and Platinum Medallion SkyMiles Members provide inbound passengers with business services are available at New York JFK, Cincinnati, Atlanta and Los Angeles airports. Passengers arriving at London Gatwick and Paris Charles de Gaulle (Air France facility) have access to dedicated arrivals facilities.


MORE SPACE AND NO MIDDLE SEATS…

Delta’s 2x2x2 seating arrangement means that there is never a middle seat. Delta’s BusinessElite service offers an innovative sleeper style seat and five feet of legroom. BusinessElite seats offer 60 inches (152 cm) of pitch, 21 inches (53 cm) of width and 160 degrees of recline.


DELTA WINE PROGRAMME …

Delta’s wine programme is a key part of the airlines global cuisine programme offered on Delta’s international BusinessElite flights. Over 85 percent of the wines featured in the Delta wine programme are exclusive to Delta, and represent large and small vineyards all over the world. Delta’s wine programme was recently voted ‘Most Original Wine List’ in Business Traveller and Wine International Magazines’ Cellar in the Skies awards 2005, for the second year running. Delta has a dedicated wine consultant Ken Chase, based in Toronto, who manages the airline’s wine programme.


IN-FLIGHT DINING…

Delta offers BusinessElite passengers a personalised fine dining experience with all courses hand delivered by a dedicated flight attendant. Delta’s passengers are now able to enjoy a new in-flight menu thanks to a recently announced partnership with hot, new celebrity chef Michelle Bernstein who is serving up delicious, exclusive menu options for its international BusinessElite customers.


As Delta redesigns its BusinessElite class to create a more inviting and entertaining experience, Bernstein is serving as Delta’s consulting chef, creating sumptuous appetisers, entrées and side dishes.


International BusinessElite passengers will be offered a personalised five-course dining experience catered to each customer’s preference and an original, award-winning wine program. Bernstein – one of the country’s most prominent female chefs who recently opened Michy’s, a Mediterranean-style bistro in Miami – will update Delta’s BusinessElite menu with savoury, contemporary offerings, in keeping with her culinary vision and extensive experience as a chef.
